What’s the Best Morning Touring Plan for Epcot?

We like the idea of kicking off your Epcot day by knocking out rides in World Showcase. This is a little bit of script flip on the conventional wisdom that typically begins your day in the Future World neighborhoods. We think the idea of saving Test Track, Soarin’, Spaceship Earth, etc. for later in the day (when most folks are making their way to World Showcase) makes some sense.

Of course, this plan will likely change when Guardians of the Galaxy opens a stand-by queue. I suppose we’ll have to reassess when that occurs.

For now, most of the folks headed to World Showcase are making their way to Ratatouille. Instead of following the crowd, we say begin the day with Frozen Ever After and follow that with Gran Fiesta Tour. Doing Frozen first will let us knock out that headliner with near zero waits. Adding the non-headline Gran Fiesta Tour will both check off another attraction and add enough of a time buffer to allow some of the initial surge of Ratatouille traffic to subside.

If everything goes according to plan, you should hit Ratatouille in that sweet spot of post-morning surge / pre-late park arrivers.

From here, it’s your call. Either way, with these three attractions on the books, you’ll be well on your way to a great day of touring my favorite park at the resort.
