If you’ve visited Animal Kingdom with littles, you know things to do with that age group is a little less than what you’ll find at other parks. In general, you have the Safari, Navi River Journey, a few shows, and a few animal encounter trails. Starting later this month, you can add a Mickey & Minnie meet-n-greet back to that list.
You’ll find them meeting at their previous spot – Adventurers Outpost – located east of the Tree of Life heading toward Asia.
For my money, it’s great to have this experience back – for a very specific reason.
On the southeastern side of the park, you have two height-requirement attractions – Dinosaur and Expedition Everest. Because our family has to parent swap these attractions, it’s great to have a non-height requirement experience nearby for the little one and non-riding parent
While KiteTails filled this role temporarily, it’s great to have Mickey & Minnie back as permanent option for the youngest in the family. Trust me, it’ll be super helpful if (like us) you need to round out your Animal Kingdom day planning with little ones.
